Good News Giants
More good news for Vancouver Giants fans:
The Vancouver Giants begin their first-round WHL playoff series against Prince George on Friday and you can catch the whole series live on SHAW TV.
Also, it looks like the Giants' best season in their short history is not going unnoticed. The WHL announced its award finalists and all-star teams and several Giants are on the list:

- Dustin Slade, Goaltender of the Year
- Paul Albers, Defenseman of the Year
- Don Hay, Coach of the Year
- Scott Bonner, Executive of the Year
- Slade and Albers were also named Western Conference first-team all-stars
- Cody Franson and Gilbert Brule were named Western Conference second-team all-stars.
