Markus Naslund : BC's Adopted Son
Inspired by yesterday's passionate efforts by Vancouver media to encourage fans to voice their support of Canuck captain, Markus Naslund, I was going to write a piece this morning on just how much he means to the franchise. While surfing the 'net, however, I came across a very well-written blog by James Mirtle on the same subject. My writing skills are no where near Mr. Mirtle's - he is a professional journalist - and there is no way that I can write a similar piece with the same eloquence. So instead I am linking this entry to his piece. It's a great read and I think it expresses the same many sentiments as most Canuck fans.
