RIP Phyllis Gretzky
Phyllis Gretzky, the matriarch of the Gretzky family, died last night after a long battle with lung cancer. She was 64 years old.
''Throughout my career, she was in the background but she was the glue,'' Wayne Gretzky said at the time of her diagnosis. ''She's always been the toughest in the family.''From my small corner of the hockey blogosphere, sincerest condolences to the Gretzky family.
