Intrasquad Game Injuries

Sonuvabitch. (Iain MacIntyre, Vancouver Sun)

Vancouver Canuck goalie Roberto Luongo left the National Hockey League team's intrasquad game injured after being hit on the collarbone or throat by Brad Isbister's high shot.

Luongo, a finalist for both the Hart and Vezina trophies last season, lay facedown the ice for several minutes at the Memorial Centre in Victoria after getting beaned by Isbister late in the first period Sunday morning.
And Louie wasn't the only casualty. Via canucks.com:

Sami Salo also left the game after jamming his wrist and will get x-rays, while Trevor Linden left the game with a pulled groin.
More updates as they come.

Louie really needs to start wearing a neck protector.
