And You Thought We Had Goalie Problems
Mired in a six-game losing slump that saw the team allow 23 goals in that span, the Edmonton Oilers sent goaltender Ty Conklin to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL for a conditioning stint. To help back-up Jussi Markannen, the Oilers then recalled Mike Morrison... from the ECHL. Oh my.
I know Canucks goalies receive their fair (or unfair) share of criticism and this kind of story really makes me appreciate what we have.
