Game Day: Oilers at Canucks

I know they're all important games, but the next three games for the Vancouver Canucks are reaaaaally important. Despite gaining points in 14 of their last 15 games, the Canucks haven't been able to shake off the Calgary Flames and both teams are still tied, points-wise anyway, for the Northwest Division lead.

They have, however, widened the gap between themselves and tonight's and Tuesday's opponent, the Edmonton Oilers. After last night's games, the Canucks still have a six-point cushion on the ninth-place Oilers; a couple of wins against them would surely help solidify their playoff position.

I'm not a spiritual kind of guy, but I gotta say..I got a bad feeling about tonight's game.

Do you think that Calgary will pull away with top spot in the NW with the addition of Conroy? It's going to be tough to keep up to the Flames now methinks. I wonder if Nonis is feeling the pressure to make a move, even though he is down-playing it in the media.
