Soon To Be On CBC
Hello from cold and sunny Calgary!
How's this for a nice, little surprise? Tracy and I got to YVR this morning to meet up with the rest of our group. Our friend who works at the CBC was there with a camera man. We go there say hi to everyone while the camera man was filming our conversation. I didn't think much of it until I noticed another friend had a microphone on.
So he filled me in.
Apparently we're being filmed this weekend as go through a "road trip of a lifetime".
The camera followed us while we hung around, waiting for everyone, and while checked into our flight and went through the security gate. When we get to the Saddledome tonight, there will be a crew from CBC Calgary waiting for us and following us to our seats and then to Cowboys. Then someone else will be following the Edmonton portion of the trip.
Apparently the five-minute piece they're putting together is airing sometime in March.
Kinda weird to have your every move taped on camera, but pretty exciting at the same time.
