Game 2 Preview

Despite a solid win in game 1 on Tuesday night, some are not convinced that the Canucks have righted their ship. That's a good thing.

The Canucks can't allow one win to get into their heads and get complacent. Last night, the Colorado Avalanche and Anaheim Mighty Ducks played each other; the Ducks won in OT, both teams got points and both teams moved up the standings.

The Oilers are ready.

From coach Craig Mactavish:

"We have to answer back and it's going to be a much tougher building now," MacTavish said yesterday. "We sent them out with some momentum and confidence, but that's playoff hockey and that's what this is."
From Shawn Horcoff:

"We need to be mentally prepared, better defensively and more disciplined," Horcoff said. "We have to be aggressive and stay out of the box because it's tough. The penalty kill is probably the area where you expend the most amount of energy and it just takes a lot of people out of the game."
The Canucks need to be saying the same thing.
