Team Toughness
One of the more impressive things about the Canucks' back-to-back wins was their team toughness. On Friday, Ryan Kesler took on a much-bigger Keith Tkachuk; on Sunday, Kevin Bieksa went after Karl Stewart for blindsiding Kesler; and Taylor Pyatt fought tough guy Jim Vandermeer for an unpenalized check from behind.
As Ben Kuzma notes in today's Vancouver Sun, team toughness is not an issue; and as proof, here's a clip of Taylor Pyatt's fight (YouTube via hockeyfights.com):
