Cookie Crumbled

Vancouver Canucks' forward Matt Cooke is out indefinitely after being hit by a puck and suffering a broken jaw during yesterday's practice. The Canucks have recalled Josh Green from the Manitoba Moose to take Cooke's place in the lineup. Green, one of the final Canucks cuts in the preseason, is leading the Moose in scoring (4g-6a-10p) after nine games. He can also play at center, which may allow Marc Crawford to play Trevor Linden at his natural right-wing position.
