Today it was Matt Barnaby for Marcel Hossa and a third-round pick. Yesterday it was Adrian Aucoin for a package headlined by Fedor Fedorov. And don't think I didn't hear you back in October on WFAN with Steve Somers promoting that Tom Poti for Brian Leetch or Nick Boynton exchange when Tom was playing horribly.You get the idea. So before you propose Naslund and Bertuzzi for Ovechkin or Bertuzzi for Allison again, make sure you give his piece a read.
Is it any wonder that three out of four of these trade proposal threads begin with the template: "How about we trade so-and-so dreg from our team for unhappy big name vet or budding star prospect currently in another organ-eye-zation?... Okay, go ahead and hammer me!"
