Hank Recognized as NHL's POW

From NHL.com:

Vancouver Canucks forward Henrik Sedin, who tallied seven points (two goals, five assists) in three games, has been named the NHL's Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, February 5. Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller, who led the Sabres to three victories with a 1.63 goals-against average and .944 save percentage, is the League's Defensive Player of the Week.

(snip)

Sedin recorded points in each game as the Canucks went 2-1-0 for the week. He recorded one goal and three assists in a 7-4 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes Jan. 31, posted one goal and one assist in a 3-1 victory over the Calgary Flames Feb. 3 and notched one assist in a 3-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers Feb. 4.
With his seven points last week, Hank has moved to 25th overall in league scoring, just one point back of Markus Naslund.

It used to be that the Canucks couldn't win a game without big performances from the big line. That's no longer the case. The big line hasn't dominated a game since Bertuzzi's hat trick against the Islanders eleven games ago and the Canucks are 7-4 in that span. In those same eleven games, Henrik has 17 points (5G-12A) and Daniel has 14 (3G-11A). It's good to see at least one of them get some recognition.
