OT: The Weekend To End Breast Cancer
On a more personal note, a couple of my work colleagues have asked me to pass on their website to help create awareness on breast cancer. For those interested in helping out:
We are a team of 8 women from British Columbia, Canada, participating in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer. We have entered a radio contest to "show the world we listen to 96.9 JACK FM" and to win $25,000. The winnings will be donated to the BC Cancer Foundation to help find a cure for this devastating disease. Please help us create awareness by signing our Guest Book and sending this on to everyone you know. You may also click on the "Email JACK FM" link and let them know you saw BJ AND THE BOOBETTES. Who knows, you may even win $500 for spotting us! Last year we raised close to $40,000 for breast cancer research. This year we would like to raise even more. They're not asking for donations (though I'm sure they'll accept pledges and such) - they are simply asking to help raise awareness.
