Game Day: Canucks at Blackhawks

Last week, the Chicago Blackhawks came to town, and in front of 18,630 Canucks fans, embarrased the heck out of our beloved team.

It's payback time.

Tonight, the Canucks visit the Blackhawks in Chicago for their final meeting of the season. In front of, approximately, 2,000 fans, they want to make sure they finish this season series on a high note. With Colorado doing Vancouver a solid last night, the Canucks have a chance now to move two points up on the Calgary Flames and to within three points of the San Jose Sharks.

Here are some of today's links and stuff:

Wow, the Sharks are that close? Between them and the Ducks, how the mighty have fallen from the beginning of the year.

Go 'nucks!

Having watched the game between Chicago and Pittsburgh the other night, Chicago isn't rolling over for anyone. If I were the Canucks, I'd be getting prepared to play some sound defensive hockey.

mike - Crazy huh? We're also 2 wins and 8 points behind Anaheim with a game in hand. This is gonna be a good finish!

teebz - Chicago's not rollin' for anyone. Better make sure they don't let Marty Havlat skate circles around them again.

Well, Havlat was great..but Luongod was god!
The Nucks had no reason to win this, but we'll take the 2 points.
Strange, heh JJ? Lalime didn't even have to be great this time. He sure couldn't be faulted...
The Canucks showed NO intensity
The ref sucked. I bet 95% of those calls were bogus.

That shootout was beautiful. Considering how both their seasons started respectively, seeing Linden and Morrison school Lalime was well worth the aggravation of watching the regulation.
