Game Day: Canucks at Flames

My good friends and I are in downtown Victoria this weekend as part of our annual get out of jail boys' trip to the Island. Last night, we went to a very big (but very dead) Red Jacket Lounge, and then to a very fun country night (complete with a mechanical bull) at Sugar. For those wondering, yes, I am feeling a little rough this morning. And we get to do it all over again tonight. Tonight, we have a table reserved at the Sticky Wicket Pub to watch the game.

It should be a beauty of a game. Both the Canucks and the Flames are on a roll - the Canucks have points in 15 of their last 16 games; the Flames have points in six straight and are 9-3-2 in 2007. Exactly a year ago, both teams also met in Calgary (we were there and got featured on CBC) and while a lot of the players have changed, the circumstances - and the rivalry of course - stay the same: tonight's winner takes first place in the Northwest Division
